Hi guys, welcome back to another video and in this video I'm going to be telling you how you can use Canva

to create menus for your restaurants so having said that, let's just jump into the video

so first things first, what you're going to do is you're going to come over here onto canva.com

and once you're over here, what you're going to do is just simply go ahead and search for menu

over here just type in menu and you will see it pop up right here

you can just simply click on it and it will show you a bunch of different templates that you can choose from

as you can see right here, we have so many different types of templates

that you can use and create an amazing looking menu so all you have to do is just simply click on create a blank

now, there are also other templates that have a wider menu alright, so this is I believe a different resolution

so over here as you can see there is a 14 by 8.5

this is in landscape, there is a 17 by 11 also in landscape

so you can go ahead and choose whichever one you want so as you can see this is one is a nice wider menu

so choose whichever one you want and you should be good to go then just simply click on create a blank right here

it will open up a canvas, a blank canvas that you can use

now over here you have your designs, you have your templates that you can choose from that or you can edit upon that

it depends on you, but I think we'll go ahead and create one for ourselves

so first what we're going to do is we're going to change the color

so we're going to go for a nice yellowish type of color

so we're going to come over here, we're going to come over here

and maybe go with a simple beige type of color, you know like this

something like that, depends on you, however you want to do it something like this, yeah I think that looks good

so now what we're going to do is we're going to add some images

of different foods and menu items, alright? so that it looks, you know, appetizing

so let's go ahead and search for some images right here so we'll go with food, yeah we'll go with food

now over here we have a bunch of different photos to choose from so we'll go ahead and see what type of photos we like

so over here we have a bunch of different photos to choose from we've got hot dogs, we've got burritos

we've got a bunch of different types of foods that we can choose from

so we could go with that or we could go ahead and use some of these different graphics

and choose that, it depends on you so I'm just simply going to go ahead and try to find an image

that would look really really good on this menu alright so I found this image right here, I think this would look good

but if I just place it right here it doesn't look that appealing, you know

so we need to add, you know, better so what we'll do is we'll search for shapes, you know

let's go ahead and find some different shapes like these, like different frames, alright

and over here we're going to use one of these frames to, you know, add our image

oh so something like this would actually look much better you know, like this one

so now we just simply take our photo and we just simply drop it within the shape

yeah I think this one looks good so now we just hover it up

and we make it look like that we could also drag our image right here

to see how it looks like, this looks good what if we use this shape instead of that, you know

we take it out, let me paste it and let me detach the image like so

and remove this shape and try to, oops sorry about that I accidentally deleted the image

now let me just detach the image and now that the image has been detached

we'll remove this other shape and we'll put this image in here

there we go, let's go ahead and make this bigger and also move it like so

you know, try to make this a little bit different we'll go into elements and we'll go into graphics

let's find some lines or we'll find some curvy lines there we go, so something like this

let's go ahead and see all of these different rectangles and maybe we can find something

well something like this would look good but it's quite big so we'll just use something else

so something like this I think looks good maybe if we can lower the size of it a little bit

and rotate it much, yeah and also change the color actually yeah, let's go ahead and change the color

nice, that looks much better now what we could do is we could write our menu

somewhere around here write the restaurant name and start typing in the menu

okay so we'll just press the T icon right here and move it somewhere right around here

now we'll type in the name of the restaurant so what would we call it

I have no idea, I don't know what even this means but I think we'll go with this

and next let's go with the menu we'll press the T button again and type in menu

there we go, quite small there we go, nice, much better so we'll place it right here like so

and now we add in our menu but before that we could change up the fonts a little bit

what about this one or this one? oh this one looks really nice, yeah

let's go with this one, we'll put it right here maybe we'll give it a little bit bigger

a little bit smaller, there we go now for the menu I believe we could go with

there we go, intro rust, so a little bit you know, bolder font but it looks much better

now we could change up the color of this text though brown, dark brown, yeah it actually looks nice

we'll go with that, yeah so now I'm just simply going to add some menu items right here

so something like this, it looks really nice maybe if we move this a little bit up over here

there we go, so this one looks nice so I believe this one would work as a menu for a restaurant
