I'm going to show you the new Google Password Manager
0:03
So let's get started. So for now, I'm going to show you on my laptop
0:07
But since it's linked to your Gmail account, you'll find the same options on your phone, tablet, or any device
0:13
So the first thing you have to do is go to Chrome. Then click on the three dots, which are on the top right
0:21
And now click on Google Password Manager. And they've added new settings, which is why you'll see the new button over here
0:30
So this is the Password Manager. And it essentially has three pages
0:34
And I'll quickly tell you about each one of them. So the first page is where you see the currently saved passwords
0:41
And from here, you can add new passwords, edit the previous ones, delete them, or check the passwords if you forgot
0:49
So if you want to add one, you can just click on Add that's here. After that, just enter the URL
0:56
So I can put Instagram. Then enter the username and password. Now they've added a new feature called Note
1:03
So here you can add any note related to your password so that you don't forget it
1:08
So let's say it's your friend's name and then someone else's birthday
1:12
You can just type that here. So now this will make it easier for you to remember your password
1:18
And then click on Save. And as you can see, it's come here
1:23
And if you want to edit or delete a password, just click on this arrow
1:28
And here, as you can see, you have these options. So this is the passwords page
1:33
And now let's go to check up. So this is a new feature that they added
1:38
And in this, they'll check if any of your passwords have been compromised
1:42
As you can see, they'll give a list like this. So to run it, just click on this button
1:48
And here you can see if there are any issues. So they've said that I have six reused passwords
1:55
And if I click on this, here I can see the websites which have the same password
2:00
And to change it, you can just click on Change Password. That's here
2:04
So this checkup has made it really helpful to get to know how safe all of your passwords are
2:09
Now coming to the third page, that's Settings. So here they've added one new feature from before
2:15
And that's using Windows Hello when filling passwords. So this basically means that when you're entering your password
2:23
they'll ask you for your fingerprint or face ID. They'll ask for some pin to ensure that it's you who's filling in the password
2:31
So you can enable this. They'll ask for your fingerprint. And now it's done
2:37
Other than this, they have the settings like offering to save passwords
2:42
or if you want to sign in automatically. And then you can import and export passwords from here
2:48
So I've made a detailed video on that. And you can check it out from here. So I hope this video helped you
2:53
And I'll see you in the next one. Goodbye
