This is a short tutorial that shows you how to set up automatic email forwarding in Gmail
0:06
So let's get started. So if you haven't already opened Gmail, then quickly open it. And once
0:11
you've read Gmail, we'll have to go to settings that's on the top right. So click on this icon
0:16
After that, click on the first option, which is see all settings. Over here, you'll find an option
0:21
called forwarding and pop iMap. It's this option that's here. So just click on it. And now we can
0:29
add a forwarding address. It's the first option over here. So just click on this button. And now
0:36
we need to enter the email address to which we want to forward all the emails. So I'll quickly
0:41
type that in and then click on next. And now you have to confirm that you want to forward the mail
0:47
to this email address. Then click on proceed. And now they've said that a confirmation link
0:52
has been sent to this email address. And now we just need to verify it. So click on OK
0:59
So now I'll quickly go to the other email address. And as you can see, I've got an email
1:04
to confirm Gmail forwarding. So all I have to do is click on this link that's here. If you want
1:11
you can read the details. Otherwise, just click on this link. And now they've said they'll forward
1:15
mails from this ID to this and then just click on confirm. And now it's done. So now this email ID
1:23
can forward mails to this one. So now I'll go back to my original email ID. And if I just
1:28
refresh this page, as you can see, two new options have come. So by default, they've selected
1:35
disable forwarding. But now just click on the second option. And this option says that they'll
1:41
forward a copy of all incoming mails to this email ID that we just confirmed. And then you can decide
1:48
what happens to the emails in your current email ID. You have many options, whether you want to
1:53
keep it in the inbox, mark it as read, delete it, archive it. You can decide any of these options
1:59
from here and then just click on save changes. And now it's done. They've said that you are
2:04
forwarding your email to this email ID. So this is how it works. And if your Gmail inbox has a lot
2:10
of spam and you want to clear it, you can check out this two minute video over here. That's it
