Many people think that to schedule or publish tweets in advance that you'll need a third party program like the ones you're seeing on the screen

However, you can actually schedule tweets using the native desktop app in Twitter

So that's what I'm going to show you right now. So the first thing that you'll want to do once you open Twitter is to tweet like you normally would

Okay, so rather than clicking Tweet in real time, I'm going to select the Schedule button

This will allow me to schedule this tweet for a certain time

Once you're done, click Confirm. Now you'll notice that rather than saying Tweet, the blue button now says Schedule

And now our tweet is scheduled for that time. So at any time, we can go back and change the publishing date or any of the text in that composed tweet

Just click the Schedule button again and navigate to the bottom where it says Schedule Tweets

Click on the tweet that you want to edit. And click Schedule again to change the publishing date

And then go ahead and click Update. You'll see at the bottom it will update you as to when the tweet will be sent

Now you may want to delete tweets as well that you have scheduled. It's a little bit different to do that, so you just click the Schedule button, navigate to Schedule Tweets

go ahead and find the tweet that you want to delete, click the Schedule button again

and now select Clear, and just delete your text. And that will no longer be in your unsent tweets

So it should be noted that this will only work on the desktop version of Twitter

If you try to do this on any of the Twitter mobile apps, it's not going to give you an option

So if you want to schedule tweets from your phone or mobile device, you probably will have to use one of those third-party options
