to get started with editing videos on Canva, I'll show you guys step by step how you can get started

Now one thing to note is that there are different ways that you can proceed

First off, I'm going to cover how you can edit videos that you have downloaded. So if you have

a pre-existing video and you just want to edit that, how you can edit that video, how you can

add more interactive elements into your video is going to be the second part of this video

And lastly, I'll show you guys how you can convert some ordinary images and illustrations

into animated videos. So let's get into it. Now our first way is going to be uploading our video

So to do that, simply log on to Canva. And once you have logged on, click on upload on the top

right. Then click on choose files. And then you're just going to choose your pre-existing video. So I

have this video in my desktop over here and I'm just going to open this up. And then I am going

to click on add to a template. And there are, you know, a bunch of different templates available

You can just choose an empty one. You don't necessarily need to choose, you know, a filled

out template. You can just open up a blank design as well. So if you just want a simple design

I can just open up the presentation design over here. Or you can just go click on video over here

and this will open up a empty video for you. Then on the left panel, you can click on your uploads

And from here, you're going to click on videos. Now this will show you any of your uploaded files

So our file is still uploading. I'm just going to let it be completed. And you can upload directly

over here as well. So I'm just going to complete my upload. And this is my video over here. Now I

can position this video to fit however I want. I can fit it to the frame like so. Once you do that

you can see on the top, you have a few video editing options. First up, you have the edit

video option, which allows you to adjust the filters, remove backgrounds. And then if you

click on the adjust feature, you have different tools to edit the overall appearance of your video

such as your white balance, tint, light, brightness, contrast, vibrance, texture, and more. Then you

have the next feature where you can trim out your video. So if I want to trim my video, let's say I

want to trim it from here to here, or maybe trim it like this. I can do that over here as well

And I'll click on done. And now I have trimmed my video. Then you have your playback. So this shows

you the speed that your video is going to be running on. I can increase the speed of my video

as well. And you also have options to play on repeat. So the video keeps on looping. I can also

slow down your video, but I'm just going to increase the speed a little. Then you have the

crop option, which can help you in editing the frame of your camera. So let's say I don't want

a lot from the top. I want to crop that. So I can click on crop over here. And just like that, I have

cropped my video and you can see the frames or the borders of the image as well. So now we have, you

know, a white little border that we have. So I can crop from the bottom as well, because I have

white borders, and I'm going to keep them as black now. Now, after this, you have the animation option

how you want this to slide in, but I don't want to add any animations. And this is your default

Now, this is just your simple editing tool. How can you make this more interesting? Well, you don't

have to cover your entire frame with your video. You can resize your videos and go into elements

on the left panel, and you can add a lot of different amazing elements. So if I want to add

something that's fashion related, I'll just search for fashion, and then I'll go into the graphics

section over here. I'm going to take this illustration and this one over here, and I'm

going to convert them all to white because I need these illustrations to be in a white outline

So they are nice and visible on the sides like so. I can place them like this, and then I'm going to

click on them with a right click, and then click on send backward. What this will do is that this

will lead, you know, create some interesting elements on the sides and to frame my overall

video like this. And then I can add more elements as I please. So let's say I have this one over

here, and this one is in a photo section, so I will have to see if this can be converted into

a white image. I don't think I can convert that. I can do a color edit from here, desaturating

the colors, and I'll just look for some other elements as well. Just this over here, and if I

want to make it even more interesting, what I can do is I am going to add some text at the start as

well. So I'm going to click on text on the left panel, and I'll use a simple font combo. So I'm

going to use maybe this font combo, and I'm going to ungroup this entire text block. It's here like

this, and what I'm going to do is I'm going to select both of these like this, and I'm going to

change the color. I get a dark pink like this, and now I'm just going to place it at the center. Now

I don't want this to appear throughout the video. I just want it to appear at the start, and then I

want it to fade away. So I'm going to go to the seven second mark, and then I am going to split

this page from here. So you can split it from here. That's totally up to you how you want to frame this

As you guys can see, we have these options. You can duplicate the page, and you can also go ahead and

move your preview bar and adjust that as well. But I'm going to click on the text, and then I'm going

to click on animate. Now in this animate feature, I'm going to have it both as typewriter, and I just

want them to only be on the entrance, and then after that I can also go on ahead, and we have

this, and then from here we can click on split page on the bottom preview, and then I'm going
