Canva QR code generator how to create QR codes on Canva. Hey guys welcome back in this video I'll
0:08
show you guys how you can generate your own QR codes on Canva. Now this is a lesser known feature
0:16
that a lot of people don't know about. A lot of people just search for QR codes on Canva like
0:22
this and they don't find anything because this is not where you generate your QR code. I'll show you
0:28
guys step by step how you can find a QR code generator on Canva. Now to get started simply
0:36
log on to your Canva account. I already have created an account and the reason why I love
0:42
using Canva is because it's so simple, efficient, and it has so many powerful tools available for
0:50
free. Plus even if you're someone that doesn't have a lot of experience in designing you can
0:55
still design some amazing things with Canva. Now if you want to get started simply create an account
1:02
I have created my account already but you can sign up with your email address. Once you do that just
1:09
open up a custom size of whatever you want. So let's say I want to just build a simple presentation
1:17
so I would just open up a blank presentation like this and you might be wondering hey where do I put
1:25
my QR code and how do I make that? Aren't I supposed to make that first? Well don't worry I'll
1:32
show you guys how. Once you open up a blank canvas what you're going to do is you're going to go into
1:39
the left panel over here. In your left panel click on apps and once you click on apps over here you're
1:48
going to scroll down and you have a lot of different apps. You will find in the popular section there is
1:54
a app called QR code. Just click on this and if you can't find this simply go into the search bar
2:03
and search for QR code and you will see the first application. This is the one that has been created
2:10
by Canva and is the one that we will be using today. So just click on this particular application
2:16
and then click on open. Once you click on open you have to enter the URL of the website that you want
2:24
You also can customize the overall appearance of your particular QR code. So I want to link to this
2:33
article on the new hot couture collections for fall and winter and I'm just going to copy this
2:42
particular link and then I will insert that into the URL. Now I am going to change the background
2:49
color and I want the background color to be this pink, this dark pink and then the foreground color
2:58
to be white and then I want a margin of two and then I will just click on generate code. Once I've
3:06
clicked on generate code this has generated my QR code. Now let's say I'm building the rest of my
3:13
presentation. So if I go back and go into my presentation over here I'll just select this color
3:23
like this and I'll just insert my QR code over here and then what I'm going to do is I'm going
3:29
to go into elements and I can you know insert the rest of the info. So let's say we have 2024
3:39
hot couture trend, hot couture trends and when I'm giving this presentation I can ask people to just
3:48
scan the QR code to be led to the article. You can link to a website and you can even link to other
3:55
Canva presentations or other Canva elements that you have created. So what if I am giving a
4:02
presentation and I want a QR code that has a view only link of the presentation. So I'll show you
4:10
guys how you can do that as well. So for that all you have to do is first you're going to build your
4:17
presentation. I'll take this one as an example. So I have this presentation that I'll take as an example
4:26
Now I want to build a QR code that people can scan and this will lead them with a view only
4:34
link of my presentation so they can go through it on their own devices while I present. So to do that
4:41
what I'm going to do is I'm going to click on share on the top right and then click on the
4:48
public view link and I'll just click on this and I will generate a public view link and we will make
4:55
sure it is activated and then just copy this link. Now once I copy this link I can go into the app
5:02
section and then go ahead and follow the same steps. So I'll open up the QR code generator and
5:10
I'll insert the view only link. Now I am going to customize, I'm not going to customize the color for
5:18
this and I'm just going to click on generate code. Now I have generated this code and the background
5:24
is a bit busy on this particular slide so let's say I will create a new slide over here and I will
5:33
just insert this code over here like this and I can just put this on and then I can just even add
5:41
some text. So scan to open PPT on your device like this so I can instruct people to open the presentation
5:54
on their device and I can make this the first page so everyone can open the presentation and now
6:00
if I scan this on my phone I will be led to a view only link so if I go ahead and scan right now
6:10
like this you will probably even see that I will be joining the view only link so I've joined the
6:17
view only link just like so and if you take a look at this particular style this enables you to
6:26
share your Canva illustrations at a glance and so much more. Plus you can link to any website this
6:34
can also be especially helpful in building digital business cards because nowadays who has the time
6:41
to keep a card in their wallet everyone prefers a business card that has a QR code so to do that
6:49
we're going to follow the same you know almost the same process so we're going to go ahead
6:56
build your business card let's say that this is my business card over here now what I'm going to do
7:03
is I would simply go on ahead and make sure to hyperlink all of these elements so if I have a
7:10
website I would click on this and then I would go ahead and do a right click and click on link
7:17
over here and I would insert my actual website link over here and then after that once I have
7:24
completed those steps I would go on ahead and just generate a view only link so I would just go ahead
7:33
click on over here and I'm going to click on public view link like this and then just create
7:40
a public view link click on copy over here and then go into the apps go into the QR code generator
7:48
enter our URL generate the code and just like that we have a scannable little QR code that
7:56
people can scan to get all of our information in their phone instead of having to search it manually
8:03
with a business card so I hope you guys found this video helpful and you are now able to get started
8:09
with generating codes QR codes with Canva it's simple easy free and safe I hope you guys found
