how to add Instagram shop. Hi guys, welcome back to another video
0:03
And in this video, I'm going to be telling you how you can add your very own Instagram shop to your
0:08
Instagram. So having said that, let's just jump into the video. Now before we do that, we need to do a couple of things. First things first
0:14
we'll need to do is we need to link our account to our Facebook page
0:20
and then we need to create a catalog and so on. And then we need to post that catalog onto the shop
0:29
So let's get started. Now, in order to connect your account, it's very simple
0:34
You just simply open up a business meta suite, as you can see right here
0:39
Facebook business suite, meta business suite, whatever you want to call it. Then you just simply come into inbox and over here
0:46
you will see you have messenger, Instagram, Facebook comments, and Instagram comments, right
0:51
You can just simply go ahead and click on Instagram and connect your Instagram
0:55
And it's very simple. Let's go ahead and click on connect, click on continue, click on continue
1:02
And we just simply select our account, click on continue. And there we go. We are now connected
1:08
I had to change my page because it was connected with a different account
1:13
But yeah, once it's connected, you can view all of your messages over here
1:16
I just hit my messages currently. All right. You can see it right here
1:20
All messages on red are going to be over here if you see them
1:24
But now that we have connected our Instagram account, we can move on to the next page. We can move on to the next step
1:31
And for that, what you need to do is just simply hover your mouse and click on all tools
1:36
And then you will have all these different options available to you
1:40
Now, what you need to do is you need to find or go to sell products and services
1:45
And under these products and services, you will find e-commerce. Simply click on it. It's going to open up the commerce manager right here
1:52
And over here, you're going to have your account, right? You can change your account as well
1:58
Let me just change it to here, this one because this was the one that we were using. And over here
2:03
you're going to have your commerce assets and you will have your catalog
2:08
You can add your account and you can add the catalog as well. So over here
2:13
add a commerce account for your business that you will be able to choose a
2:16
catalog from, and you can click on manage a list and you can select and deselect anyone you
2:22
want. It depends on you. And you can even click on add account to add an account right here
2:29
So over here, we're going to choose either a Facebook account or an Instagram account
2:33
And we want to select Instagram and click on next. Next we want to choose the checkout method. All right
2:40
So you can go with another website, a third party application you want
2:44
or you could check out with Facebook and Instagram. It's going to have reduced frictions checkout
2:49
I recommend going with Facebook and Instagram, since you are going to be using Facebook and Instagram
2:54
So why not use their own method? And you can even check out with messaging as well, but it depends on you. Next
3:00
now you choose a sales channel. So over here you will have different
3:04
you know, accounts or different pages, right? You could create one right here
3:09
create a new page or you can select the already existing ones right here
3:13
It depends on you. So if you want to create a new page, just simply click on create new page and you are good to go
3:20
Or you can just simply select show all to see all of the pages. Now over here
3:24
we can't select this one because it doesn't have an established presence for now
3:29
Meaning it's a very new account. There's nothing on it. Or we could go with this one as well, but it depends on you
3:36
So we'll just select this one currently, you know, it's a older page, but yeah
3:41
then we'll click on next. Now we need to add products over here
3:45
I already created this product or this collection and catalog. So that's why it's just, you know giving me these options
3:53
but I will show you how you can add them as well. You can even add your Shopify product catalog
3:58
If you have one already or you can create a new catalog right here
4:02
you can give it a name and you know, just simply create a new one
4:06
It depends on you. But for now, since we already have created a catalog
4:11
we'll just choose that. I'm going to show you how you can create that as well. Then we click on next. Then we have delivery and returns. Now over here
4:19
this is just speculations over here. All right, this isn't my expertise
4:23
So I'm just going to be choosing random options that I think should be good
4:28
but it depends on you. You need to do your own, you know
4:32
due diligence, your own research and find the best time and delivery
4:38
options for that region or for your country. So keep that in mind
4:42
Don't do everything, but I do think and change a little bit of settings
4:47
Like for example, the country, of course I'm not from USA. I would have to change my country. And of course
4:52
if I change my country and change the States where I ship
4:56
the options would be different. But yeah, let's just say we offer standard delivery
5:01
We offer expedited and offer express delivery. All right. Now, base rate, let's say it's $5 per delivery
5:10
All right. And rate per item. All right. It should be, I would say $5. All right
5:17
Basket minimum for free delivery, I would say $50, right? You get $50 or buy a $50 product free delivery and the estimated
5:28
delivery time, I would say maybe three to four days. There you go. Then we have expedited delivery. All right
5:37
It's going to cost you a little bit more. We'll say $8. And for that rate per item is going to be also $5 depends on you
5:44
Basket for this one could be $60 and the estimated time is going to be
5:49
two to three days. And then we have express. Well, of course
5:53
express is going to cost you 15 and we'll go with 10 over here
5:58
We'll also go with 60. Actually we should just keep it 50. Yeah
6:02
that'll be much better. And then over here, it'll be like one to two day window of return
6:10
30 days are okay. We got the email and then we'll click on next
6:14
And then we'll have a preview of the whole page. And by submitting or clicking this button, we click on finish setup
6:22
And there you go. You know, set up everything. We've got the shop ready. We've got the sales channel, we've got the product
6:27
the catalog and all of that. Now we'll show you how you can create a catalog in just a minute. Okay
6:32
I guess I have three too many attempts for some reason. They should not be happening, but you know, well, let's just say it's done
6:39
All right. After that. Okay. For some reason, it keeps giving me this error
6:45
but you don't have to worry about that. Once you've set up everything or done like this, after that
6:50
you'll only need to do two more things, which is you'll need to set up a payments or a payment option and returns and
6:58
shipping. So you got to set up those two. And after that, your shop is finished right now. If you're wondering about the catalog, well
7:06
it's also very simple. Let me actually go back right here in the commerce
7:11
manager. You will see, you have, you know, the catalog option and you can click on add catalog to create your own catalog
7:18
And you can go with any type of catalog you want. E-commerce, local travel
7:23
property, depends on you. We'll go with e-commerce for now. And then you just simply upload the product info or connect to a partner
7:31
platform like Shopify or big commerce or Etsy or whatever. And you should be good to go
7:37
Then you just simply click on create and you click on view catalog
7:42
And in the catalog, you will see, you have items. And over here
7:46
you just simply click on add items to start adding items into your catalog
7:52
You could add a manually or you can enter in the data for you or partner
7:55
platform or pixels. It depends on you. And once you just simply click on next
8:01
once you've made up your mind and just simply click on new items to start adding
8:06
items, you just enter in the title description, the website link, the price over here, the sale price
8:14
You could select a category as well and condition stock brand. It depends on you
8:21
And you can even add the images over here underneath the images tab and drag and
8:25
drop the images right here. Very simple, nothing too complicated. First, you just simply connect your Instagram account and create a page right here
8:35
like a business page, go to the commerce manager. All right, create a catalog, add the items
8:41
and then you just follow the rest of the steps that I showed you earlier
8:45
And boom, that's how you can add an Instagram shop on here
8:49
And that's basically it guys. Thank you guys for watching. If you have any questions
8:53
let me know in the comment section down below and I'll be sure to answer them as soon as possible. So having said that, thank you guys for watching
8:58
And until next time, take care and goodbye
