how to add a voiceover in Canva video. Hey guys, welcome back. Today we'll be taking a quick look

at how you can get started with adding your voiceover directly into your Canva video and

it's super easy, super simple. You don't need any kind of third-party app or paid feature

nothing of that stuff. You have a simple way you can do this and I will show you exactly how

Now you can do this with your videos, your presentations or anything else. If you want

to add any voiceover, you can easily add it. So let's get started. Now I'm just going to open up

a blank video canvas, just taking a look over here if I can find it. So I'm just going to search for

video and I'm just going to create a blank video over here and after that you can go into uploads

on the left side of your screen and you can click on videos and you can select whatever video you

want. So let's say I want it to be this one and I have this video over here. Now with every video

that you upload, obviously your video might have its own audio. So if you want to mute that audio

or, you know, turn down the volume, whatever you might want to choose, you can choose to mute it

from over here and if you want to keep the original audio as well as your voiceover

then you can choose to just turn it up. This volume does not impact the volume of your actual

you know, voiceover. So don't worry about that. So let's say I don't want any of the original audio

Now once I have framed my video, you guys can see I have my basic video ready. If you want to add any

animations, transitions, you can do that as well and if you want to trim your video. So what you

want to do if you want to trim it, let's say I want to remove one section from over here, what

you're going to do is you're just going to put your preview bar. So you're going to put it to

where you want to start cutting out the video part and you will just click on over here, do a right

click, click on split page and then move your preview bar to the portion where you want to

restart the video again and then click on split page. Then you have this middle section that you

didn't want and then you can just click on delete and get that deleted. So that is one amazing way

that you can just really simplify the entire process. Now I really don't mind, I just want one

continuous video. So how can you add a voiceover? Well you can see on the bottom of your screen, at

the very bottom of your screen, you find this section called notes. So you want to open up this notes

section and it will say notes will be displayed in presenter preview. So this is where you're

going to write down what you want to say in your video. I recommend that you make sure you write it

down exactly how you want it because if you make any mistakes in your voiceover, you know, it just

gets a lot more difficult to edit it out later. So it's best if you just try to nail it the first time

So you can write down your notes, whatever you want to write, it will be displayed. So I'm just

writing this one line down so you guys can see what it's going to look like. Now once I have written

down my line, you guys will be able to see this is what it looks like but where is the voiceover

Well don't worry, you want to write down your script over here. Once you have completed your

script, what you want to do now is you want to click on share on the top right. So you're going

to click on share on the top right and then you will see all these different options over here

So it won't be, if it's not available over here, you just want to click on more and once you click

on more, you get all of the share options. Over here you have this option called present and

record. So what you want to do is click on present and record and you have these options where you can

get started with recording yourself. So what we're going to do is we're not going to record our

camera, we're only going to record our mic and that will be our voiceover. So we're going to click on

go to recording studio and I'm going to turn off my camera over here and I just want my mic to record

You can select whatever mic you have, if you have a mic device you can link that, if you have you know

any other item that you want to link so you can link that. So once you have linked your microphone

or your laptop's microphone, pc's microphone, whatever it might be, you just want to click on

start recording. Leopard is the fastest animal in the animal kingdom. Here we can see a leopard

Now I just clicked on end recording on the top right. Now this will end the recording that I

created and I can just click on save and exit. So I don't have to you know download it, you don't

have to do anything but you might be wondering hey we did that voiceover but where is it? How can I

put it in my video? Well now once you have recorded the voiceover directly on your video and just to

show you guys again, go into share, go into present and record and you can see you have this little

recording. If you want to redo it you can click on delete recording and do it again. Now what you want

to do is you want to go into your uploads over here and you guys will be able to see this audio

section. So if you go into uploads, go into audio, you will see this most recent audio. This is my

recording that I just created and what you want to do if you want to sync it up to your overall video

so let's say our you know I have this little empty section at the start or I want to trim it out

whatever you want to do you can just click on this and just do a right click, click on split audio

and then split audio wherever you want to and you can delete the chunks where you have

you know blank spaces. Then you also can do this where you have if you want to sync up your

audio obviously let's say I don't want there should be some text or I don't want to be saying

anything in the mid section so what I can do is I can just click on this split audio and then split

audio once more and I can just remove a middle section you can leave out gaps and this will just

help you sync up your audio. Now you even have auto sync options so if you just click on your

voiceover over here and you click on adjust you have multiple different options you can trim it

out however you want you have audio effects as well and you also have beat sync so your pages

and elements would be synced up and timed to the music so that is another great option that you get
