How to activate Shopify payments

So if you want to quickly learn on how you can activate your Shopify payments, you came to the right video

So to activate this, what you're going to do is you're going to come to your Shopify dashboard and go to your settings in the bottom left

Now, once you go to your settings, you're going to come here where it says payments, and once you do that, you're going to come here where it says

Shopify payments and you're going to come down here where it says activate Shopify payments. So once you go into activate, you're simply going to click on business

type, you're going to choose whatever business type you have. If you don't, then Shopify payments will not work for you

You need to be in ownership of some business LLC, proprietorship or anything

So even if you're like an individual, you will have to enter all the information

So I'm in an LLC, so I'm going to go out and add that. I'm going to add my legal business names and all

Then you have your job title, then obviously your date of birth

And once you've added your date of birth, what you're simply going to do from there is add in your Social Security number

So once I add my SSN, what we're going to do from there is you're going to tell them

if there's any additional owners, then there's business categories. So let's say my business is entertainment and recreation as a fortune teller

You're going to add in the description of your products and services

You have your statement descriptor, then you have your phone number. So once we add our phone number from there

what's going to be happening is we are going to go straight up to the section for

verification. So once you click on Submit for Verification, what that will do is it will start processing your information

If your information is legit, then it will verify everything. And once everything is verified, you will obviously get a, you know
