US, Phoenix: Glendale 49th Avenue Vehicle Extrication.

Phoenix, United States - July 24, 2026 07/24/2026 02:14 am GMT-0700 GLENDALE, Ariz. – Shortly after 2 a.m., Glendale Police and the Glendale Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle collision at 49th Avenue and Maryland Avenue that required extrication. Officers arrived on scene to find an SUV flipped on its side with an adult male still inside the vehicle. Firefighters arrived shortly thereafter and extricated the trapped male, providing medical aid. Maricopa Ambulance Personnel transported the adult male to a local hospital, and the extent of his injuries is unknown at this time. Information gathered at the scene indicated that the SUV rear-ended a parked Ram pickup truck, which caused it to roll over. The parked vehicle showed significant damage to its rear-end. It remains unclear whether speed or impairment were factors in the collision.
