US, Phoenix: Guadalupe Deputies Investigate After Jeep Shot Multiple Times.

Phoenix, United States - September 27, 2026 09/26/2026 09:53 pm GMT-0700 GUADALUPE, Ariz. – Deputies with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and officers with the Tempe Police Department responded to the 5500 block of West Calle Senu in Guadalupe shortly after 9:50 p.m. Saturday evening to reports of a shooting. Firefighters with the Arizona Fire and Medical Authority, the Tempe Fire Department, and Maricopa Ambulance personnel responded to the location as deputies and officers attempted to locate a gunshot victim. Deputies were unable to confirm the status of any possible victims. Deputies located a white Jeep Grand Cherokee with multiple bullet holes in the driver’s side and visible damage to the driver’s side of the SUV, as well as a destroyed rear tire. A man was seen detained in the back of a nearby Sheriff’s deputy’s vehicle in handcuffs, being evaluated by medical personnel. The man’s relationship to the shooting has not been confirmed. A crime scene was established outside a nearby house in the 9600 block of South Calle Tomi, with crime scene tape surrounding the sidewalk in front of the house. An additional crime scene was located at the intersection of East Cll Fortunato Serrano and East Calle Brigido Valenzuela, with multiple deputies surrounding a house after locating at least five shell casings in the roadway outside the house.
