US, Tempe: Phoenix Woman Crashes Ambulance After Stealing It From Avenge Sevenfold Concert.

Tempe, United States - August 28, 2026 08/27/2026 10:50 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – According to Phoenix police at the scene, officers initially responded to the Avenge Sevenfold concert at the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheater near 83rd Avenue and Encanto Boulevard after Phoenix fire personnel reported that their ambulance was stolen. Firefighters responded to the concert following reports of a patient experiencing an unknown medical emergency. An adult female suspect then entered the ambulance and drove away from the venue. The ambulance was then spotted driving recklessly in the southbound lanes of 75th Avenue near Indian School Road. The suspect continued southbound for a short distance before crashing into a Ford F150 pickup truck near the intersection of 75th Avenue and Osborn Road. The suspect attempted to flee the crash scene in the ambulance and proceeded to push the involved F150 approximately one block south of the initial point of impact before coming to a stop near 75th Avenue and Cora Lane. Officers responded to the scene of the crash and quickly apprehended the adult female suspect. Firefighters arrived at the scene and transported at least one person from the involved F150 to a local hospital with minor injuries. The female suspect was evaluated at the scene but refused hospitalization. Impairment is suspected.
