US, Los Angeles: Canoga Park Driver Struck By Vehicle After Being Involved In Traffic Collision.

Los Angeles, United States - September 19, 2026 09/19/2026 12:58 am GMT-0700 CANOGA PARK, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – This evening, a two-vehicle collision occurred on the 9100 block of Topanga Canyon Boulevard. Initial reports indicate that a southbound sedan collided with a parked SUV, triggering an iPhone notification alerting dispatchers. A witness at the scene observed the driver of the sedan walking around in and out of the street after the crash. While traffic continued to move northbound through part of the accident scene, another vehicle struck the sedan's driver, knocking him to the ground. At that time, the Los Angeles Fire Department was present at the scene, but the Los Angeles Police Department had not yet responded to the initial collision. The driver of the vehicle that struck the man remained at the scene and cooperated with Los Angeles Police Department officers, who ruled out intoxication. The driver from the original crash, who was struck by the northbound vehicle, was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
