Los Angeles, United States - May 03, 2026 05/02/2026 11:30 pm GMT-0700 DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Police surrounded a car containing four people after a pursuit ended in downtown Los Angeles on Friday night. The chase began in Hollywood and continued on the 10 Freeway around 10:30 p.m., where the black vehicle nearly collided with other cars. The driver then moved onto surface streets. Ultimately, the vehicle lost control at the intersection of Hill Street and 6th Street. According to initial unconfirmed information gathered at the scene, suspects may have discarded multiple firearms from the vehicle at various locations during the pursuit. The suspects were wanted in connection with an assault with a deadly weapon. Authorities took at least three individuals into custody shortly after 11 p.m.
