US, Los Angeles: Commerce SUV Rests on Top of Car After Crash on 5 Freeway.

Los Angeles, United States - September 18, 2026 09/18/2026 01:33 am GMT-0700 COMMERCE, Calif. – A multi-vehicle collision occurred early this morning on the northbound side of Interstate 5 near the Atlantic Boulevard off-ramp. The crash involved a Subaru Forester, a Tesla, and several other vehicles, including a silver Honda Civic, which was blocking the number one lane. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene and the California Highway Patrol (CHP) held all lanes just south of the Atlantic Boulevard exit. Initially, a witness reported the involvement of a gray Toyota RAV4 and approximately four to five other vehicles. One of the vehicles was found on top of another, and the responsible person's vehicle was undriveable. However, the responsible party was reportedly picked up by a good Samaritan. The Los Angeles County Fire Department was also requested, and the scene was cleared after ensuring the safety of all parties involved.
