US, Los Angeles: Palms Fiery Three Vehicle Crash on 10 Freeway.

Los Angeles, United States - June 12, 2026 06/11/2026 11:15 pm GMT-0700 PALMS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A traffic collision occurred on the eastbound Interstate 10, just west of La Cienega Boulevard, involving multiple vehicles. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene after reports indicated that two vehicles were down an embankment. Initial assessments confirmed that one vehicle was overturned and approximately 100 to 150 feet down the slope. By 11:15 PM, it was reported that three vehicles were on the right shoulder, with one vehicle smoking and hanging over the embankment. Fire units were on their way to the site. Shortly after, it was confirmed that the vehicle was on fire, prompting a request for additional towing assistance. At 11:21 PM, firefighters reported that one vehicle was completely engulfed in flames. A SigAlert was issued later that evening, affecting the third, fourth, and fifth lanes of traffic on the eastbound side of the freeway. Additional tow crews were requested to assist in the retrieval of the vehicles, particularly one that was reported to be 110 feet down the embankment. The situation involved urgent coordination between fire and towing services. As response teams arrived, they continued to monitor the fire and ensure safety measures were in place for traffic control as they worked through the incident.
