Los Angeles, United States - September 07, 2026 09/07/2026 12:46 am GMT-0700 CLAREMONT, Calif. – California Highway Patrol officers from Baldwin Park and Rancho Cucamonga stations, along with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, responded to multiple 911 calls reporting an overturned semi truck on the center divider of the 210 Freeway. The incident affected both westbound and eastbound lanes. As officers received further calls about a separate vehicle with significant damage to the engine that had become detached on the westbound side at Baseline Road, arrival teams took immediate action. Upon reaching the scene, they shut down all lanes of the west and eastbound 210 Freeway. The overturned semi truck caused diesel fuel and oil to spill, which affected many lanes of the westbound 210 Freeway traffic. The driver of the overturned semi truck was taken to a local hospital with injuries that remain unspecified. Currently, two right lanes of the eastbound 210 Freeway have been reopened for limited traffic. However, traffic remains severely congested at Baseline Road due to the remains of the crash. The cause of the incident is still under investigation, with the Baldwin Park CHP overseeing the case.
