Los Angeles, United States - October 08, 2026 10/08/2026 04:13 pm GMT-0700 SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Two people were rushed to the hospital and traffic stopped after a violent rollover crash on the northbound 14 freeway at Via Princessa in Santa Clarita. The incident occurred shortly after 4 PM when a white sedan and black pickup truck collided on the freeway, sending the pickup truck rolling directly into the center divider and flinging debris into oncoming traffic. Officers from the California Highway Patrol and paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene, where they located two people injured from the collision. Reports indicate that one person found at the scene was unconscious and not breathing. Two people were transported to the hospital by ambulance in unknown condition. The driver of the white sedan reportedly fled the scene of the collision, escaping into a nearby neighborhood. The collision stopped both directions of the 14 freeway during peak rush hour traffic. The suspect remains outside of police custody at this time.
