US, Phoenix: Phoenix Dunlap Avenue Vehicle vs Pedestrian Crash.

Phoenix, United States - August 22, 2026 08/21/2026 11:06 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Friday night at around 11:06 p.m., the Phoenix Fire Department was dispatched to the area of I-17 and West Dunlap Avenue for a possible vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. On arrival, firefighters located an unknown male in the southbound off-ramp median who had been struck by a vehicle. The vehicle left the scene in an unknown direction, and the male was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. The Phoenix Police Department is on scene investigating the cause of the collision. Phoenix police were seen detaining a male at the scene. It is unconfirmed if the person detained was involved in the collision. The southbound turn lane to eastbound Dunlap Avenue is closed while police investigate the collision.
