Phoenix, United States - May 16, 2026 05/16/2026 02:45 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Phoenix Police Department and the Phoenix Fire Department responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning at the intersection of 50th Avenue and McDowell Road. Upon arrival, police found an unresponsive male lying in the eastbound lanes of McDowell Road at the corner of the intersection. Firefighters arrived and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. Details regarding the involved vehicle, including whether it remained at the scene, were not available at the time of publication.
