US, Phoenix: Phoenix I-10 Fatal Vehicle Vs Pedestrian Collision.

Phoenix, United States - July 09, 2026 07/09/2026 04:30 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers and Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to reports of a vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic collision in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near 67th Avenue. Troopers arrived to find an unidentified pedestrian in the HOV lane. Phoenix fire personnel arrived a short time later and pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene. DPS troopers have established a closure for the left three lanes of travel prior to 67th Avenue. The partial closure is expected to remain in place throughout the morning while the crash investigation unfolds.
