US, Phoenix: Phoenix Rider Extremely Critical After 27th Avenue Motorcycle Crash.

Phoenix, United States - July 18, 2026 07/17/2026 07:37 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Officers with the Phoenix Police Department and firefighters with the Phoenix Fire Department responded to reports of a motorcycle crash just before 7:40 p.m. Friday on 27th Avenue at the intersection of Ocotillo Road. Emergency crews arrived and located a motorcyclist who had collided with the rear driver-side door of a silver passenger car at a high rate of speed. According to a Phoenix police official at the scene, the unidentified rider was transported in extremely critical condition to a local area hospital by Phoenix Fire personnel. Detectives with the Phoenix Police Department's Vehicular Crimes Unit responded to the scene to investigate the collision. 27th Avenue was closed for several hours in both directions between Tuckey Lane and Lamar Road as the scene was being processed.
