US, Phoenix: Phoenix Camelback Road Fatal Vehicle Vs Pedestrian Collision.

Phoenix, United States - June 20, 2026 06/19/2026 10:00 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police and Phoenix fire crews responded to the area of 2000 West Camelback Road following reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. According to initial unconfirmed information gathered at the scene, an unidentified pedestrian was struck by a Ford pickup truck while crossing Camelback Road mid-block. The pedestrian was transported to a local trauma center by personnel from the Phoenix Fire Department and was later pronounced deceased. The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene. A hard closure was established for Camelback Road spanning from 19th Avenue to 21st Avenue while detectives from the Phoenix Police Vehicular Crimes Unit investigated the collision.
