US, Phoenix: Phoenix 43rd Avenue Pedestrian Struck By Pickup Truck.

Phoenix, United States - July 25, 2026 07/24/2026 09:31 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police and Phoenix fire crews responded to reports of a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision near 43rd Avenue and Whitton Avenue. According to Phoenix police at the scene, an unidentified pedestrian was struck by a Dodge Ram pickup in the northbound lanes of 43rd Avenue, south of Whitton. The pedestrian was transported to a local trauma center in extremely critical condition by Phoenix fire personnel. The driver of the Ram remained at the scene and cooperated with officers. Phoenix Police Vehicular Crimes Unit detectives responded to the scene and assumed command of the investigation. A hard closure was established for 43rd Avenue spanning from Whitton Avenue to Osborn Road while the investigation unfolded.
