US, Phoenix: Phoenix I-17 Fiery Fatal Motorcycle Crash Graphic Content.

Phoenix, United States - May 30, 2026 05/30/2026 03:06 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety and firefighters with the Phoenix Fire Department responded to reports of a motorcycle crash in the northbound lanes of Interstate 17 just north of Bethany Home Road Saturday morning shortly after 3:00 a.m. Upon arrival, troopers found a motorcycle fully engulfed in flames after colliding with a dark colored Toyota SUV. Troopers located the rider, who was unresponsive in the roadway, and began administering CPR until firefighters arrived. Firefighters arrived and began extinguishing the fire and provided medical aid to the rider before transporting them to a local hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased, according to DPS. Troopers closed northbound Interstate 17 at Bethany Home Road while they conducted an investigation into the collision.
