According to Phoenix police at the scene, an unidentified pedestrian was struck by a Chevrolet Malibu. The pedestrian was transported to a local trauma center in unknown condition. The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene. A hard closure has been established for 35th Avenue south of Thomas while Phoenix police investigate the collision.
