US, Phoenix: Phoenix 7th Street Fatal Vehicle vs Pedestrian Crash.

Phoenix, United States - May 08, 2026 05/07/2026 10:00 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police and Phoenix fire responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle near 7th Street and Elwood Street. Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified pedestrian in the roadway. Phoenix Fire Department arrived a short time later and pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene. Officers established a hard closure for 7th Street, spanning from Jones Avenue to Elwood Street. Phoenix Police Department Vehicular Crimes Unit detectives responded to the scene and assumed command of the investigation.
