US, Phoenix: Phoenix Pedestrian Struck And Killed On 27th Avenue.

Phoenix, United States - September 13, 2026 09/13/2026 04:01 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police and Phoenix fire crews responded to the area of 27th Avenue and Myrtle Avenue for reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. According to Phoenix police at the scene, officers arrived to find an unresponsive pedestrian in the northbound lanes of 27th Avenue. Phoenix fire crews arrived and pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene. The vehicle that struck the pedestrian did not remain at the scene. Officers established a hard closure for 27th Avenue while the Phoenix Police Department Vehicular Crimes Unit detectives investigated the incident.
