US, Phoenix: South Phoenix 19th Street Fatal Shooting Investigation.

Phoenix, United States - September 13, 2026 09/13/2026 02:06 am GMT-0700 South Phoenix – Phoenix police and Phoenix fire crews responded to the area of 19th Street and Weir Avenue for reports of a shooting. According to Phoenix police at the scene, officers arrived to find an unidentified gunshot victim. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Phoenix Police Homicide Unit detectives responded to the scene and assumed command of the investigation. A large scene was established along 19th Street as the investigation unfolded. The investigation remains active, and additional details have yet to be released.
