US, Phoenix: Phoenix I-17 Overturned Semi Truck Collision.

Phoenix, United States - May 01, 2026 04/30/2026 11:10 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers and Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to reports of a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi truck in the northbound lanes of I-17, south of Peoria Avenue. According to initial unconfirmed information gathered at the scene, troopers arrived to find a multi-vehicle collision involving a semi truck that was hauling a fully loaded cement tanker trailer, an SUV, and a sedan. The involved semi overturned following the initial collision and came to a stop blocking multiple lanes. The involved SUV rolled over, landing on its roof in the rightmost lane of travel. The involved sedan came to a stop on the right shoulder. All involved occupants were able to self-extricate from their vehicles prior to the arrival of first responders. All were evaluated by Phoenix Fire Department crews and all refused hospitalization. Arizona Department of Transportation crews responded to assist troopers with closing several northbound lanes. All northbound traffic was restricted to the HOV lane for several hours while crews worked to clear the wreckage from the affected lanes.
