US, Phoenix: Mesa Possible Stolen Car Crash.

Phoenix, United States - July 22, 2026 07/21/2026 10:13 pm GMT-0700 MESA, Ariz. – State troopers responded Tuesday evening to assist Mesa Police with a reportedly stolen SUV. According to initial unconfirmed information gathered at the scene, the incident occurred around 10:10 p.m. in the area of McKellips Road and North Olive in Mesa. Radio traffic indicated that, during the attempt to stop the stolen SUV, it struck a law enforcement vehicle. It is unclear whether the vehicle was operated by Mesa Police or the Department of Public Safety. A landscaping trailer attached to a pickup truck parked on a residential street north of the intersection appeared to have been hit by the stolen SUV. The SUV was later found in a ditch on the south side of McKellips Road. After the crash, the occupants of the vehicle fled the scene, and a search for them was initiated by police and troopers. It is currently unknown if the suspects were eventually located.
