US, Los Angeles: West Covina High Speed Tesla Crashes into Multiple Parked Cars SOT in Spanish and English.

Los Angeles, United States - May 07, 2026 05/07/2026 02:31 am GMT-0700 WEST COVINA, Calif. – West Covina police and fire departments responded to a traffic collision this morning at the intersection of East Vine Avenue and South Lark Ellen Avenue, where a Tesla struck multiple parked vehicles. Upon arrival, first responders found the Tesla had collided with several parked cars, propelling one white SUV from the street into the front yard of a home. The driver and passenger of the Tesla were trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters used the jaws of life to pry the doors open and free both individuals, who were then transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition. Multiple neighbors reported hearing a loud bang and came outside to witness the aftermath of the crash involving the Tesla and an estimated six to seven other vehicles. It is currently unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a factor in the high-speed incident. West Covina police have closed both the westbound and eastbound lanes of Vine Avenue as they continue their investigation.
