US, Los Angeles: Chatsworth High-Speed Collision on 118 Freeway Injures Two.

Los Angeles, United States - September 13, 2026 09/13/2026 12:42 am GMT-0700 CHATSWORTH, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A two-vehicle collision occurred this evening on the 118 Freeway westbound at the Topanga Canyon Boulevard off-ramp. A Corvette sports car, reportedly traveling at high speed, struck the rear of a Tesla. The impact caused both vehicles to sustain significant damage as they exited the freeway. The collision forced the Corvette several feet forward, ending up on the opposite side of the street. The driver of the Corvette suffered major leg injuries and was transported to the hospital. The driver of the Tesla sustained minor injuries and was also hospitalized. It remains unknown how many people were in the Corvette at the time of the crash. The California Highway Patrol, Ventura Fire Department, and Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the incident.
