US, Phoenix: Tempe Priest Drive Serious Motorcycle Crash.

Phoenix, United States - September 05, 2026 09/04/2026 09:43 pm GMT-0700 TEMPE, Ariz. – The Tempe Police Department, Tempe Fire Department, and Arizona Department of Public Safety responded to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle at the Priest Drive overpass near the on-ramp for westbound Red Mountain Loop 202 shortly after 9:40 p.m. Friday. Emergency crews arrived and located a motorcycle that had collided with a Honda CR-V in the intersection, causing severe damage to both the motorcycle and the SUV. At least two people were transported from the scene in reportedly serious condition; however, it is unclear whether both victims were on the motorcycle at the time of the traffic collision. Police closed southbound Priest Drive at Washington Street and the westbound Loop 202 on-ramp at the intersection as they began investigating the collision.
