So you just finished your Canva design
0:02
Now what? So I'm going to show you eight different options to share your Canva designs
0:08
But before I do that, consider subscribing to my YouTube channel where each week I'll be
0:12
uploading new content on a variety of different topics, including lots of videos on Canva
0:18
which is probably one of my favorite programs right now. So thanks to your consideration
0:23
And now let's get to the video. So check this out. This is my business marketing plan that I've gone through and created inside Canva
0:33
Now what I want to do is share this. I have a few different options
0:40
Option number one is going to be present. This would be if I was giving a presentation either online or with a group of people
0:47
To present, all I'll have to do is select the button that says present
0:51
I'm going to have a few different options here on how I can present
0:55
If I have two monitors, you can do a presenter view or if you're just presenting from this monitor in an online situation, you would probably just do standard and select present
1:07
Now you'll notice my slides are at the bottom. My cursor is on the screen with a blue halo that will allow me to go in and highlight certain areas
1:17
And if I want to advance to the next slide, I can just click the right and the left buttons
1:22
Now, one of the things that's kind of cool about Canva presentations at the bottom, there are these
1:28
These are called the magic shortcuts. You can add some different effects on your screen
1:33
Here's some bubbles. There's a quiet prompt. You do have a timer at the top of the screen, if you'd like
1:39
A drum roll. There's our curtain. Lots of really cool things for you to play around with
1:45
Of course, it's probably going to work better if you launch this in presenter view
1:50
so you have that one monitor to launch all of your effects
1:59
The second way is to download each of these slides as a photo
2:04
We can do that by clicking the share button, clicking download, and then selecting our file format
2:12
For this one, I'm just going to leave it at JPEG. Now, you can play around with the size if you would like
2:18
Now, the larger you go, the higher you go, the higher. your file size will be. So something to keep in mind if you have to submit this for something online
2:25
Sometimes there's file restrictions. Now, I can either select to download all pages or just select certain ones
2:33
For this one, I'm just going to download all of my pages. So I'm going to select on, click download
2:39
And in a few seconds, I'll be able to download. Okay my presentation has finished downloading And now you be able to see a PNG image file of each one of my slides
2:56
The next option is going to be a PDF file. So let's say that I want to share this presentation
3:03
with a colleague, but I want to do it in a PDF. So what I can do again is click the share
3:09
button at the top right hand side of the screen, select download. and this time I'm rather than keeping it at PNG, I'm going to scroll down and choose PDF standard
3:18
Again, from here I have options, whether I want to select all pages or just a selection of slides out of the ones that I have
3:26
So once I'm finished, I'm going to select done and I'm going to select download and in a second I'll have access to this PDF file
3:33
And here it is. This is a PDF copy of my presentation that I can share with someone or print it off
3:42
The next way I'm going to share with you is how to share your presentation or your design
3:47
as a website. So rather than sharing this as a file, like a PDF file, I'm going to select share
3:54
And rather than selecting download, I'm going to click on these three dots
3:58
For this one, I'm going to choose website. Now from here, I have several different options, how I want to share this as a website
4:06
The first web style is a presentation. And this gives you what the presentation site looks like
4:11
It's basically just a web page as a slide that you can go forward or backward while you read the
4:18
content. The second option is scrolling. This is more like a traditional web page. In scrolling
4:25
I can just go through and scroll and as I scroll down, I'll see the next slide in my presentation
4:32
This is kind of a cool way to take your presentation and make it a very simple website
4:37
Here is the next option. This is classic navigation. Classic navigation, you can scroll just like you could with the previous option, but you'll notice that at the top, you have a navigation menu, which will allow your viewers to jump from slide to slide using this menu at the top of your window
4:55
And finally, the last option is standard. If you open the standard website, you not only have the navigation menu at the top of your window, but you also have the ability to scroll down
5:07
And as you'll see, as you scroll down, you'll see the slide that's on the navigation menu will be bolded
5:14
So it will go through and let viewers know where they are in your presentation
5:22
All you'll have to do is select your style. Click the button that says open window
5:27
And then copy and paste the link that it takes you to Here is an incognito window I just going to paste that And this is what my website will look like to a visitor
5:45
The next option is creating a video. This sounds a lot harder than it really is in actuality
5:52
It's actually very simple. So the first thing that you want to do is decide how long
5:57
you want each one of your slides to display in the video. By default, I'm at five seconds that you can see at the top of the screen
6:04
But if I want this to be, let's say, seven seconds, I just have to change it
6:08
And if I want each slide to be seven seconds, I can select this button
6:12
And it's going to make all of my slides seven seconds long. Now, I'm not quite finished yet because what I'd like to do is to add some music behind this
6:21
So I'm going to select elements. And I did a search for corporate, and I filtered it just for audio
6:27
and I got all of these different results. So if there's a song that I like
6:32
let's take this one. All I have to do is take this song
6:36
and just kind of drag it to my presentation. You can see now that it appears at the bottom here
6:41
I have each slide set for seven seconds. If I want, I can select the present button
6:47
and this will give me an idea of how it's going to look. Now the last step is to export this
6:57
To do that, just click share. From the download menu, I just want to select MP4 video
7:05
Again, I'm going to choose all 10 pages. Remember, I have 7 seconds per slide, but I could go in and manually adjust each slide if I wanted to
7:14
And now I'm going to select download. And in a few minutes, this video will be finished
7:21
Now, videos take a little bit longer to export depending on the number of slides and how long you set the duration to be
7:27
So I got an notification that my video is finished. Let's hit play and see and hear how it turned out
7:52
So an easy but kind of interesting way to share your presentation, share it as a movie
7:57
So the next option that I want to share is how you can generate a QR code that will allow someone to scan the QR code with their smartphone and go directly to view your presentation
8:10
The first thing that you have to do is click the share button and then what you want to do is generate a view only link
8:17
You want to copy this link We got that link copy now that will allow people to view our presentation And now what I want to do is go down to the share button again
8:28
I'm going to click on the three dots. And I'm going to choose QR code
8:34
Now it's going to ask me to paste my QR code at the top
8:40
We're going to start with page one, although I can select which page I'd like that presentation to begin
8:45
And now when I go to generate code in just a few minutes
8:50
Canva is going to automatically create a QR code that I can download and print out and post anywhere
8:56
that I want people to scan and view my presentation. The next thing that I want to do is share how you can create an animated GIF
9:08
from your presentation. Remember, an animated GIF is a short video clip
9:13
that does not have any sound. but you can upload a social media or any other place
9:19
So the first thing that you'll want to do is to set the duration of your slides
9:22
Remember, this should be fairly short. So rather than having seven seconds
9:27
I'm going to switch this to three seconds, and I'm going to apply this to all of my 10 slides
9:34
Next, I'm going to go to share. I'm going to select download
9:38
And from the file type menu, I am going to choose GIF
9:43
Again, I can select which pages that I will. want to choose for this one. I'm just going to select all of these pages. Now, this is a 30 second
9:50
GIF, so it may be a little bit longer than what you traditionally see, but I'm going to go through
9:55
and export this anyways. And in a few minutes, my GIF will be downloaded. So now my GIF is complete
10:02
I actually opened it in Chrome, and this is how it looks. And then the final way to export your
10:12
design that I'm going to share with you is going to be to export. it as a PowerPoint file
10:17
So if you click on the share button, and then click the three dots at the bottom, if you
10:22
scroll down a little bit, you'll see the option for Microsoft PowerPoint
10:27
I can choose which slide that I want to export, and I'm going to select all 10 of them
10:32
and I'm going to select download. So my design has been downloaded as a PowerPoint file
10:38
This is how it looks. It's almost identical, and it's going to give me the option to edit this in PowerPoint if
10:44
I need to. So a great way if you have to export your Canva Design into PowerPoint. So I hope that
10:50
you found this video to be helpful. If you have any questions, go ahead and leave them in the
10:54
comments section below. And if you find that you like this content, I would love it if you
