How to add audio per slide on Canva
0:02
Hey guys, welcome. In this video, I'm going to give you a tutorial on how to add audio per slide while editing
0:08
a video on Canva. So let's get into it. First of all, what you guys need to do is you can go to Canva.com and you will get right here
0:16
Kenva is a very famous editing platform that allows you to edit your videos
0:21
You can create presentations. You will be able to edit your YouTube intros, videos, and you can create invitations
0:28
t-shirt designs, websites, and much, much more. So today I will cover how you can add audio on each slide while editing a presentation or a video on Canva
0:39
So let's get into it. First, you're going to get to your file that you are editing
0:43
It's either a presentation or a video that you are working on. This is our video editing canvas on Canva where at the bottom right here, the pages are replaced with scenes and with each slide, we will be getting a time frame
0:58
and we can add a video and then we can add audio to it. So on Canva, first of all, you're going to upload your video or the presentation you are working on or the file that you have selected
1:09
So I have added this footage. This is a video that I want to edit. It's a vlog
1:14
So let me show you how I add different audio to my vlog in different scenes
1:19
So you can see at the bottom I have different slides created. For instance, this is the first slide, which is for six seconds
1:25
And this is what it looks like. It's like an intro and a welcome slide that I have
1:31
So I want to add an audio in this slide. So this is what it looks like you can see
1:37
I want to add an audio. In order to add an audio, first of all, you need to place your cursor where you want to add the audio
1:44
So for instance, I want to add in this slide. So I'm going to select this one
1:48
And then we're going to go to the audio section right here. You can see after projects, we have audio
1:53
You can also go to the apps right here if you cannot find the audio Go to apps and scroll down a little bit and you will get the audio option right here so in audio we have a lot of different audio available different music for free first of all you can
2:07
check the music and see if this is what you like for instance this one right here all right
2:12
then we have some of the other music i'm going to go with something like uh you know upbeat so i like
2:18
this music right here so once you select that music it will be added right here on that page above
2:24
So once you have selected, and at the top here, we have audio effects
2:29
Here, I will be able to select the part of the video. I want to add to the, well, you can see the other part of the audio will be gray
2:37
and this one is color. That means this is the part that has been selected for the audio here
2:42
And we need to address how much audio we are looking for
2:46
So once you select an audio, it's added right here. You can see at the bottom, the audio has been added
2:51
So the total footage time, the video time is actually 19.6 seconds and the audio has been added
2:58
The part is added for 19.6 seconds. But now what I can do is I can actually reduce the time to 6.2
3:07
So it will be added in just the first slide. So that's what you need to do is
3:11
So you need to first select the, you know, part you want to add to the video
3:17
So that's what I'm going to do quickly. So now all we need to do is we will get this
3:21
option to crop the audio and I'm going to crop my audio to 6.2 seconds and there you go now it has been
3:29
added to this slide only if I play the slide for you guys again so you can see now it's added to just
3:36
first slide we can add more than one audio and we can also add a voiceover to a video that we are doing
3:43
so you can see this was the first video now we have the second footage for five seconds this is actually
3:49
the second footage I'm going to adjust it a little bit There you go. So now we have the second footage for four seconds like this
3:56
In this footage I want to add another audio This is the second slide So what I going to do is I going to select the audio from here So this is the music that I want to add now We going to select it
4:07
and it will be added right here from our second slide. Again, we're going to adjust the sound
4:14
We're going to select it and then we're going to actually crop it to four seconds like this
4:20
And now it's added to the second slide. For the next slide, what I can do is I can actually do a
4:25
voiceover as well. So what you can do is you can go to your projects here and in your projects or you can go to the upload actually
4:35
In upload, go to audio and then we have Record Yourself. You can select record yourself and you can record a voiceover for an audio as well and you can keep it to one slide
4:47
So for instance, I want to add a voice over to this slide right here. You can see actually here we have the footage of talking
4:53
So you can see something like this and I can add a voice server. because it was so windy and we cannot get the sound here
5:00
So this is actually a really good way to add recordings to add a voiceover to your video
5:06
So click on record yourself and here I can do the recording
5:09
You can see my mic is working. So we're gonna hit record and we will be able to do so
5:14
So hey guys, in this video I'm gonna show you how we will do our shopping
5:19
So you can see this is the voiceover. With this I'm gonna actually navigate to right here
5:24
and we're gonna actually make it very super small. Click on save and exit and your voiceover will be added in this slide
5:31
Moving on, we have our last slide. And here we have this too where I added my voice server and we can just make it very small
5:38
if I do not want to add the camera. So we have our last slide here
5:42
I'm going to add another audio into it. So we're going to go to the audio section again, very easy
5:47
Select the sound we want to. And we can upload a sound by ourselves too
5:51
If you have a music in your laptop or PC, you can upload it and then add
5:56
or you can select from a gallery here. So it actually a really good way to get free music With Kenva you don have to do much and you don need to buy music So we have a lot of free music here So let actually select another music to add to this slide
6:10
You can, of course, you know, explore more audio. You can listen to it first and then add to your video
6:17
Once the audio is added, you can actually select it and you will be able to add audio effects
6:24
You can see audio effects. In audio effects, we have fade in and fade
6:28
out. So if you want to fade out the music, I actually want to do that. So I want the music to fade out
6:34
in like 0.1 second. And then we have the adjust option. In address, we will be able to again
6:40
select the part of the audio that we want to add. Similarly, in our audio, we can also
6:46
check it out, we can play the audio and we will be able to get an idea how it looks. We have
6:51
these three dots here. Click on these three dots and we have more audio settings. We have
6:55
adjust we have audio effects and volume so if you want to decrease the volume of your sound then you can do
7:01
that decrease it a little bit or increase it to 400 so what i'm going to do is i'm going to keep it
7:07
200 because i want to keep it like you know simple but if i want to for instance i'm talking and
7:13
i want to add audio in the background i can decrease its volume to a 10 or something else
7:19
similarly in these three dots we have delete track and duplicate track as well this way you
7:25
you add different audio to your video on Kenva, you can see each slide has its on audio
7:31
So this is how you can add audio to each slide on Kenva. And at the end, it will look like this
7:50
So you can see each slide has its own audio and this is how you can do it
7:55
