US, Phoenix: Scottsdale Person In Critical Condition After Serious Single-Vehicle Crash Graphic Content.

Phoenix, United States - September 06, 2026 09/06/2026 02:43 am GMT-0700 SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Shortly after 2:40 a.m. Sunday, firefighters from the cities of Scottsdale and Tempe responded to reports of a traffic collision with reports of occupants trapped on Drinkwater Boulevard just north of 74th Street. Firefighters arrived and located a single-vehicle traffic collision involving a sedan that was traveling northbound on Drinkwater Boulevard and struck a streetlight pole at a high rate of speed. Firefighters began performing CPR on one of the occupants before transporting them in extremely critical condition to HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center. A second patient was evaluated for non-serious injuries and was transported to the same hospital for further evaluation. Scottsdale Police closed Drinkwater Boulevard between Osborn Road and Wells Fargo Avenue as detectives arrived on scene to begin investigating the collision.
