US, Phoenix: Scottsdale Two People Shot In Old Town.

Phoenix, United States - September 06, 2026 09/06/2026 01:29 am GMT-0700 SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The Scottsdale Police Department, along with firefighters from the cities of Scottsdale and Phoenix, responded to reports of two people shot in Old Town Scottsdale just before 1:30 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Camelback Road and Saddlebag Trail. Police arrived and located two victims who had been shot near the southeast corner of the intersection. According to initial unconfirmed information gathered at the scene, both victims were transported in serious condition to a local area hospital. Police were seen surrounding the Best Western hotel just north of where the shooting occurred. Officers were seen detaining a male suspect in an alleyway. Officers recovered a pistol in the hotel swimming pool near where the suspect was detained. The detained man was then seen being transported to a local area hospital by fire personnel with unknown injuries. Police closed Camelback Road between Buckboard Trail and 75th Street as they investigate the shooting.
