US, Phoenix: New River Troopers Investigate Serious I-17 Rollover Crash.

Phoenix, United States - July 18, 2026 07/18/2026 12:58 am GMT-0700 NEW RIVER, Ariz. – According to Arizona Department of Public Safety officials at the scene, DPS troopers and Daisy Mountain fire crews responded to reports of a single vehicle rollover crash in the northbound lanes of Interstate 17 near the New River Road overpass. Troopers arrived to find a Chevrolet SUV off left with occupants trapped inside. Firefighters arrived and utilized mechanical extrication equipment to cut the occupants from the vehicle. At least three people were transported to a local trauma center. One unidentified occupant was transported with life-threatening injuries. The conditions of the two additional transported occupants have yet to be confirmed. ADOT crews responded to assist with traffic control, closing the number one and two lanes while the crash investigation unfolded.
