US, Phoenix: Phoenix I-17 Serious Two-Vehicle Crash.

Phoenix, United States - July 12, 2026 07/11/2026 10:07 PM GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety and Phoenix firefighters responded to a two-vehicle traffic collision in the northbound lanes of I-17 just south of Peoria Avenue shortly after 10:05 PM Saturday. Troopers arrived and located a Hyundai sedan that had been rear-ended by a Chevy Silverado at a high rate of speed. According to initial unconfirmed information gathered at the scene, a female occupant of the Hyundai was ejected from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. Troopers closed several lanes of I-17 as they investigated the collision. The roadway was eventually reopened at 1:25 AM Sunday.
