US, Phoenix: Phoenix Police Investigate Large-Scale Scene Involving Glendale Police SWAT.

Phoenix, United States - May 25, 2026 05/25/2026 12:47 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Details are limited at this time, The Glendale Police Department SWAT team responded to a residence located near 47th Avenue and Paradise Lane in the City of Phoenix. Fire crews responded to the residence a short time later for reports of a shooting. The Glendale Police Department quickly established an extensive crime scene along Paradise Lane, closing the roadway between 48th Drive and 47th Avenue. A Glendale police officer at the scene stated that the incident is not an officer-involved shooting. The Phoenix Police Department responded to the scene approximately 1 hour later. A PPD official at the scene confirmed that the Phoenix Police Department will be handling the ongoing investigation. Phoenix police detectives as well as the PPD Mobile Command Unit responded to the scene to assist with the active investigation. A Phoenix police watch commander at the scene stated that the public information officer has been notified and an official media advisory will be published later today.
