US, Phoenix: Phoenix DPS Detectives Recover Chopped Up Stolen Jeep.

Phoenix, United States - August 22, 2026 08/21/2026 10:00 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Troopers and Vehicle Theft Task Force detectives with the Arizona Department of Public Safety converged on a house in the 8000 block of North 12th Street on Friday evening. At the scene, detectives and troopers took a male suspect into custody. According to a trooper at the scene, they were investigating a stolen Jeep Gladiator, which was located at the residence and being stripped for parts. Several components of the vehicle were found disassembled from the stolen car. A tow truck arrived to load the Jeep and all the removed parts for transport to a Arizona Department of Public Safety evidence lot.
