US, Phoenix: Avondale Dysart Road Collision With Trapped Occupants.

Phoenix, United States - May 31, 2026 05/31/2026 03:30 am GMT-0700 AVONDALE, Ariz. – Avondale police and Avondale Fire Department crews responded to reports of a collision with trapped occupants at the intersection of Dysart Road and Encanto Boulevard. Upon arrival, crews found a 2-vehicle collision involving a black sedan and a white Dodge Durango. According to initial unconfirmed information gathered at the scene, fire crews found an unknown number of trapped occupants in the involved sedan. Crews utilized mechanical extrication tools to cut the occupants out of the vehicle. At least one person was transported to a local trauma center in unknown condition. A female was taken into custody by Avondale police at the scene. A closure was established for southbound Dysart Road from Encanto Boulevard while Avondale police investigated the incident.
