US, Phoenix: Phoenix 23rd Avenue Double Shooting Investigation.

Phoenix, United States - June 24, 2026 06/23/2026 08:50 PM GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – According to Phoenix police at the scene, officers responded to initial reports of a physical altercation involving several people near 23rd Avenue and Hazelwood Street. While responding to the scene, officers received updated information stating shots had been fired. Officers arrived to find 2 unidentified gunshot victims. Both victims were transported to a local trauma center in unknown condition. Phoenix police detectives responded to the scene and assumed command of the investigation. A closure was established for 23rd Avenue, spanning from Hazelwood Street to Coolidge Street while the investigation unfolded. It is unknown if anyone has been detained.
