US, Phoenix: Phoenix 17th Avenue Shooting Investigation.

Phoenix, United States - May 21, 2026 05/20/2026 08:00 PM GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Phoenix Police Department and the Phoenix Fire Department responded to 17th Avenue just south of Bell Road on Wednesday night, around 8:00 PM, to reports of a person shot. According to initial unconfirmed information gathered at the scene, officers arrived and located an adult male gunshot victim who was then transported to a local area hospital with reportedly serious injuries. Phoenix police closed 17th Avenue near an apartment complex as they began their investigation into the shooting. No additional information was immediately available.
