US, Phoenix: Phoenix Bell Road Major Vehicle Collision.

Phoenix, United States - September 12, 2026 09/11/2026 10:51 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Around 10:51 p.m. Friday, the Glendale Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection of North 51st Avenue and West Bell Road for reports of a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. On arrival, firefighters discovered two vehicles with heavy damage, with one of the vehicles on its side. Due to the number of patients, firefighters triaged the scene and balanced the call to a two-in-one medical response, adding more units from both the Glendale Fire Department and the Phoenix Fire Department. A total of eight patients were involved; three of the patients were transported to local hospitals. One patient was a 19-year-old female who was in critical condition, and the two other patients transported were in unknown condition. All other patients involved were evaluated and released at the scene. The Phoenix Police Department is on scene and will be handling the investigation to determine the cause of the collision. Southbound traffic is restricted to one lane while the investigation is ongoing.
