US, Phoenix: Casa Grande SWAT Standoff With Barricaded Homicide Suspect.

Phoenix, United States - May 11, 2026 05/10/2026 10:00 pm GMT-0700 CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – According to a Pinal County Sheriff's Office official at the scene, Pinal County Sheriff’s Deputies, Casa Grande Police, and operators with the Pinal County Sheriff's regional SWAT team converged on a house in the 2400 block of East Alonso Drive in Casa Grande with a barricade homicide suspect inside around 10:00 p.m. Sunday night. SWAT operators were seen in armored Bearcats surrounding the house, issuing commands to the suspect to exit. A command post was established in the parking lot of the nearby Mission Royale II Park to coordinate several drones conducting aerial surveillance of the house. At the time of publication, it is unknown if the suspect was ultimately located and taken into custody by deputies.
