US, Phoenix: Tempe Possible Hit-And-Run Pedestrian Crash Investigation.

Phoenix, United States - October 09, 2026 10/09/2026 12:32 am GMT-0700 TEMPE, Ariz. – Officers with the Tempe Police Department are investigating after a pedestrian was reportedly struck by a vehicle on McClintock Drive near the intersection of Palmcroft Drive shortly after 12:30 a.m. Friday. According to initial unconfirmed information gathered at the scene, a pedestrian was located after being struck by a vehicle and was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. The vehicle that struck the pedestrian was not seen at the scene of the collision and may have fled the area; however, officers at the scene did not comment on whether the investigation is being handled as a hit-and-run. Police closed McClintock Drive in both directions between Concorda Drive and El Parque Drive as the scene was being processed.
