US, Phoenix: Mesa Rider In Critical Condition After Fiery Motorcycle Crash Graphic Content.

Phoenix, United States - August 01, 2026 07/31/2026 10:10 pm GMT-0700 MESA, Ariz. – Firefighters from the cities of Mesa and Tempe responded to assist the Arizona Department of Public Safety with a fiery motorcycle crash on the northbound Loop 101 near Guadalupe Road around 10:10 p.m. Friday. Troopers and firefighters arrived and located a fully engulfed motorcycle on the right shoulder of the Loop 101 after striking the rear of a Kia Sorento at a high rate of speed. Firefighters began performing CPR as they transported the unresponsive motorcyclist to a local hospital in extremely critical condition. Troopers closed the northbound lanes of Loop 101 at Guadalupe and forced all traffic to exit. Following the conclusion of the crash investigation, the roadway was reopened at approximately 2:00 a.m. Saturday.
