US, Los Angeles: Hawthorne Shooting Leaves Multiple Wounded.

Los Angeles, United States - September 24, 2026 09/24/2026 02:15 am GMT-0700 HAWTHORNE, Calif. – Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the area of Crenshaw Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday following reports of a shooting involving multiple victims. At least three people were seen suffering from injuries believed to be related to the shooting. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known. Victims were found in separate parking lots in the area as a heavy police and fire department presence responded. Roads near the scene were closed during the investigation. A witness at the scene said a group of people had been gathered in the area when an argument broke out and multiple gunshots were fired. Another witness said people began running after the shooting. Officers from the Hawthorne Police Department, Gardena Police Department, and Hermosa Beach Police Department were among those at the scene. No suspect information was immediately available. The circumstances leading up to the shooting remained under investigation.
